Training and Development Programs

Adapted from the graduate courses taught at Stanford University (see University Courses), this tailored sequence of four 4-day training programs develops the basic skills needed to improve decision making in your organization.  Each program covers one focal point:  people, process, models, or analysis.

Participants form cross-departmental and cross-functional teams to become proficient in using state-of-the-art tools and techniques of decision analysis.  Their goal is to enhance the quality of both the process and content of decisions being made throughout your organization.  Learning will be reinforced by working on current decisions facing these managers.

Three levels of development are available:

bulletApprentice
This certification, available for participants who complete the entire training and development sequence, signifies an ability to deliver professional decision analyses

bulletJourneyman
This recognition, for those who train and develop the skills of apprentices, signifies the ability to lead decision analysis projects under the supervision of a master

bulletMaster
This honor, bestowed on those who teach and develop journeymen, signifies a mastery of professional decision analysis and the ability to independently direct significant projects
